Northwestern Women’s Basketball

Upon assuming the role of Marketing Coordinator for Northwestern Women's Basketball, I quickly identified the need to refine our operational approach for game day management. Initially working with the format provided to me by my supervisor, I encountered challenges with its structure, leading to ambiguities in execution. To address these issues, I sought mentorship from the men's basketball director and drew inspiration from my coworker’s task sheet used for men’s basketball.

In response, I developed my own task sheet format, a revamped tool that significantly improved our operational efficiency. This new version brought clarity to role definitions, detailed event overviews, and streamlined communication, ensuring that each team member was well-informed of their responsibilities. These enhancements not only facilitated smoother coordination among staff but also bolstered our ability to execute game day tasks effectively.

My initiative in refining the task sheet exemplifies a commitment to excellence, an aptitude for strategic thinking, and an ability to lead complex logistical operations. It underscores my capabilities as a business strategist, adept at improving systems, fostering collaborative work environments, and managing intricate situations efficiently.
